Lead Instructional Designer

ACAMS is seeking a Lead Instructional Designer to ensure high standards of instructional quality and content accuracy across certification and certificate course products. The role involves collaborating with Product Managers, SMEs, and Media Producers to create impactful, learner-centered materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably within the professional training, EdTech, or financial services sector
• Deep understanding of subject matter domains and certification standards
• Advanced writing and editing skills
• Expertise in collaborating with SMEs, managing relationships, and ensuring content accuracy and alignment with product goals
• Knowledge of content re-use strategies and the ability to work with knowledge management tools
• Proven track record in performing quality assurance reviews of instructional materials and mentoring junior instructional designers
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to creating high-quality learner experiences
