Job Description
As a QA/QC Supervisor, you'll lead the Quality Control Project Team to effectively manage the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems. This involves ensuring quality standards are met, resolving issues, and collaborating with the Project Management Team to support project success. Responsibilities include reviewing projects, leading inspectors, and updating quality control plans.
Requirements
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, and /or other similar fields
- Current certification in accordance with AWS QC-1 as a Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI)
- At least 3 years of experience leading and managing direct reports
- Proficient understanding of ASME Section IX BP&V Code
- Ability to read, write, and problem solve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills
