QA/QC Supervisor

As the QA/QC Supervisor, you will lead the QA/QC Project Team, ensuring quality issues are addressed and quality standards are met. You will plan and conduct analysis, inspection, design, test, and integration to assure quality of assigned products or components. You will also perform quality engineering reviews, apply statistical process control methods, and communicate with the General Contractor's Quality Assurance Manager.

Requirements

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• 10 years of overall experience and/or training
• 8 years of experience in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, and/or other similar fields
• Current certification in accordance with AWS QC-1 as a Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI), Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), and /or ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification
• At least 3 years of experience leading and managing direct reports
• Proficient understanding of ASME Section IX BP&V Code and experience creating and reviewing welding procedures and welder or brazer qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and problem solve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results
• Excellent time management and written and spoken communication skills
