Press Assistant, Plastic Film (Night Shift)

Accredo Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Press Assistant for its Sugar Land, Texas facility. The Press Assistant assists the Press Operator in setting up and operating a Windmoller & Holscher printing machine safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Complies with established safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable.
• Orders film and packaging from the warehouse.
• Load, position, and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms.
• Blend, manage, mix, store, and maintain solvent based inks according to types of material being printed and work order specifications.
• Generates labels to track production output and labels output rolls.
• Packages and palletizes material utilizing a hoist.
• Operating electric forklifts to maneuver pallets to designate areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press components and work area.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
