Job Description
The 2nd shift Direct Support Professional provides training, supervision, and direct participation in daily household management for residents in an ADL setting. Responsibilities include assisting with cooking, housekeeping, and personal care, as well as money management and documentation. The position is 24-hour, with all employees expected to report to work in inclement weather.
Requirements
- Valid NY State driver’s license and good driving record
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Obtaining and maintaining certifications in Medication Administration, CPR, First Aid and SCIP
- Valid OPWDD registration required
