Job Description
The 3rd shift Direct Support Professional role at Chenango County ADL provides training and supervision to residents in daily living skills. Responsibilities include medication administration, grocery shopping, managing finances, providing support for personal care and housework, and participating in assessments. This is a critical position requiring continuous 24/7 coverage and adherence to safety policies.
Requirements
- Lift 50 pounds with no lifting restrictions.
- Valid NY State driver’s license.
- Valid Certificate in Medication Administration, CPR, First Aid, and SCIP.
- Experience working with developmentally disabled population (preferred).
