Job Description
This 3rd Shift Direct Support Professional role provides training and supervision to residents in ADL (Assistive and Daily Living) skills, assisting with household management. Responsibilities include training residents in cooking, housekeeping, and personal care, providing money management assistance, and ensuring accurate documentation. The position requires 24/7 coverage, relies on agency communication, and involves some travel between locations.
Requirements
- Valid NY State driver’s license acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.
- Must physically be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must obtain and maintain certification in Medication Administration, CPR, First Aid and SCIP.
- High School diploma or GED.
