Head of Media on a permanent contract to lead, plan and deliver media relation strategies and activities to highlight the work of Action for Children and issues related to vulnerable children, young people and families.
Requirements
- Experience of managing professional media staff to deliver key objectives.
- Demonstrable track record and experience of working in a newsroom or busy press office.
- Demonstrable strong written and communication skills.
- Managing and building relationships with key stakeholders and external stakeholders.
- Managing a budget, including reporting.
- Proven knowledge of the UK media landscape covering news, consumer, and PR outlets.
- Demonstrable relationships in the media sector.
- Demonstrate good news judgement and understand what works for media.
