Job Description
This full-time Rigger / Machine Mover position involves safely and efficiently setting up and dismantling equipment, ensuring correct placement, and lifting and transporting heavy machinery. Candidates must pass safety assessments and possess appropriate certifications. Responsibilities include inspection of equipment, team collaboration, and adherence to safety regulations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and hardware used in lifting and transport operations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekend and overtime as needed
- Must pass fit for duty assessment, drug tests and background check
- Previous experience working with cranes or similar environment
- Proficient in operating forklifts, book trucks and hoists
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Possess or be prepared to obtain level1 and level 2 rigging certificates
- Must pass a DOT Physical
- CDL would be an advantage
