
Job description
A Process Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring that industrial processes operate safely and efficiently by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with hazardous materials, equipment, and operations. The role focuses on preventing incidents such as fires, explosions, chemical releases, and other process-related accidents through systematic safety management and engineering controls.
Conduct Process Hazard Analyses, monitor and evaluate PSM performance, identify potential hazards, recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies, develop and maintain Process Safety Management programs, and participate in incident investigations.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills, with a drive for success and a positive attitude. Experience in PSM, chemical manufacturing, or agricultural processing is preferred.
