Job Description
Aecon Utilities is seeking a Project Technician (Electrical) Co-op to design and deliver telecom infrastructure drawings. The candidate will work with AutoCAD and GIS data to produce permit-ready packages and construction sets.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering program (or equivalent)
- Strong interest in utility design and construction projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic design software (MicroStation or 3D tools an asset)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to project needs
- Ability to travel for site visits (as required)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
