Co-op Student, Engineering

Engineering Co-op Student positions available within the Civil West division for university or technical college students in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Site-based positions with opportunity to learn and develop skills in project construction management, resource allocation, scheduling, and cost control.

Requirements

• Conduct site audits and analysis
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports
• Assist Field Engineers and Superintendents
• Perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis
• Perform quantity take-off from construction drawings
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Liaise with project staff and stakeholders
• Monitor progress and assist in job cost reports
• Maintain files and correspondence
• Provide technical support
• Assist in preparation of Engineering drawings and documents
• Gather field information and assist in preparation of project bill of materials
• Assist in preparation of detailed construction and design estimates
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments

Benefits

• Wage of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
