Job Description
Aecon is seeking a Tunnel Surveyor to join their team on the Darlington New Nuclear Project. As part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract to support the Construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Tunnel Surveying, including TBM guidance systems, and a post-secondary education in Surveying or Geomatics. They will be responsible for completing various field survey requests and measurements, including Total Station accurate set of angles and high accuracy levelling loops for tunnel control network maintenance.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Tunnel Surveying, including TBM guidance systems
- Post-secondary education in Surveying or Geomatics is preferred
- Knowledge of survey practices and standards
- Construction experience in Civil, Structural, Utilities and other areas preferred
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift 35 kg/75 lbs
- Able to work on rotational shifts of up to 12 hours
