Administrateur systèmes TI opération

Agnico Eagle is seeking a Coordonnateur Systèmes TI Opérations to work within the regional IT team, providing service to all company divisions based in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of IT systems for mining operations, physical/virtual servers, and backup environments.

Requirements

• Holding a college diploma (DEC) in computer science or equivalent training
• Five (5) years of experience in IT system administration
• Mastering virtual environment concepts, installing, controlling, and securing servers, and other related equipment
• Advanced experience in Windows Server systems
• Advanced experience in Cisco switch management
• Basic experience in Linux systems and databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, etc.) is an asset
• Knowledge of mining IT systems, private LTE infrastructures, fiber optic concepts, and firewall operation is an asset
• Being able to work under pressure in a highly production-related environment
• Participating in 24/7 rotations with other team members in turn to manage emergencies
• Being fluent in English, both orally and in writing, is an asset
