Agnico Eagle's Internship Program offers a 12+ month term for Metallurgy Interns at the Meliadine Division in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. The internship involves daily routines, sampling campaigns, and data analysis to create metallurgical models and optimize the process.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program majoring in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Students must be enrolled in their university's formal Co-op program
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team building skills
- Strong ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle change
- High level of energy, self-motivation, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written, and presentation skills
- Promote a safety mindset and approach to ensure compliance with safety regulations and AEM standards
