(Summer 26) Metallurgy Internship - 12+ Month Term

Agnico Eagle is seeking a Metallurgy Intern for a 12+ month term at our Meliadine Division in Nunavut, Canada. As an intern, you will work in the Process Plant Department and collaborate with other departments to achieve set goals and objectives. You will be responsible for various tasks related to metallurgy, including sampling campaigns, data analysis, and process optimization.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a degree program majoring in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Participation in university's formal Co-op program
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team building skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle change
• High level of energy, self-motivation, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Promote a safety mindset and approach to ensure compliance with safety regulations and AEM standards
