
Job description
AJS Asset Care is looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team, supporting customers with maintenance and engineering services across FMCG sites in the UK. The role offers varied work environments, regular travel, and the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced engineering team.
Carry out routine planned maintenance, fault finding, and corrective machine repairs, as well as lifting and rigging operations. Conduct precision work such as alignments and balancing, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and work completed.
The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, mechanical engineering experience in an FMCG environment, and food and beverage experience. The role requires flexibility, including UK travel and overnight stops.
