Instructional Designer (Contract) – Learning and Organizational Development

Alberta Blue Cross is seeking an Instructional Designer to design high-impact, blended learning experiences focused on business processes for new hire team members. The successful candidate will be a strong writer who is experienced in designing engaging eLearning experiences, ensuring alignment with adult learning methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of related experience in progressive instructional design experience in a corporate environment
• Completed postsecondary degree in a related field such as Education, Adult Education, Instructional Design or other degree with an education focus
• Completed certification in instructional design, adult education, E-learning, or curriculum development certification from an accredited institution
• Strong writing skills, particularly with regard to grammar and mechanics
• Proficiency with adult learning and instructional design theories and pedagogies
• Expertise using E-learning authoring tools such as the Articulate 360 suite
• Experience in responsible artificial intelligence-assisted content development
• Ability to provide constructive feedback on training materials to enhance the instructional content’s efficacy
