Applications Judge

The Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and Alberta Justice welcome the interest of qualified lawyers who wish to be considered for appointment as a full-time Applications Judge. The successful applicant will preside in Chambers, preside in Bankruptcy Court, and hear applications within their jurisdiction.

Requirements

• Canadian citizen
• member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta
• extensive knowledge and familiarity with the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, Rules of Court of Alberta and applicable Provincial Statutes
• minimum of 10 years legal experience
• fluency in French is considered an asset
