Allied is a leading owner-operator of distinctive urban workspace in Canada’s major cities. We are looking for an Assistant Building Operator to maintain the performance and reliability of building systems across our portfolio.
Requirements
- Conduct daily rounds and regular inspections as assigned.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth building operations.
- Respond to tenant concerns in a timely manner and assist in finding appropriate solutions.
- Record all services performed in Yardi work order management system.
- Ensure all equipment and systems are operated in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complete maintenance and repairs as required.
- Carry out assigned preventative maintenance tasks as prescribed on equipment and systems.
- Assist with pick-ups and deliveries of various materials from and to properties under management.
- Maintain shop and equipment inventory, request replacement inventory as required.
- Ensure signage and lighting are in good working condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and service of all common areas and mechanical rooms.
- Ensure compliance with any and all applicable government regulations.
- Comply with company policies and procedures and ensure building standards and efficiencies are maintained.
- Support Building Operators with monitoring, testing and inspections of building systems.
- Take daily readings of all major equipment, if applicable.
- Support Building Operators with monitoring of building security system, fire alarm panel and sprinkler system regularly for proper operation and report any discrepancies.
- Support Building Operators with weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly testing and assist in conducting the required fire drills.
- Ensure all health, safety and security procedures are adhered to and areas of concern are reported to the appropriate parties in a timely manner to limit exposure to liability and loss.
