We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist for in vitro screening and pre-clinical development to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will support execution of in vitro functional cell-based assays to evaluate the potency, mechanism of action, and pharmacological properties of biologic therapeutics.
Requirements
- B.S. and M.S. in Cell or Molecular Biology, or a related field, with 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.
- A strong understanding of immunology and extensive hands-on laboratory experience are essential.
- Significant cell culture and flow cytometry experience required.
- Experience with antibody-based therapeutics is preferred.
- Proficient at fundamental cell and molecular biology assays (ELISA/MSD, AlphaLISA, and other methods).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize instrumentation.
- Direct experience with immune cell-based assays a plus.
- Direct experience handling human blood, leukopak processing, and PBMC isolations a plus.
- Hands on experience isolating and/or expanding primary immune cell subsets a plus.
- Excellent organization, clear communication and teamwork abilities in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Ability to effectively multitask and deliver results within project-driven timelines.
