Alloy is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their Data Partner Integrations team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in engineering and at least 3 years in an engineering leadership position. They will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, developing, and mentoring team members, and driving the technical and strategic vision for the data integration infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years in engineering with at least 3 years in an engineering leadership position
- Deep technical background in software development with intermediate-to-expert skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node, and exposure to Python
- Ability to lead thorough code reviews and help engineers solve bugs
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and experience with highly scalable and highly available application architectures
- Experience leading sprint planning, goal based project tracking and execution
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees
- Humble - agrees with the philosophy of servant leadership; you lead by pointing people in the right direction and being there to help support them along the way, not by micromanaging or demanding
