High-tech manufacturing environments require highly reliable automation and electrical systems. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing robotic, automated, and electrical systems to ensure maximum equipment availability, safety, and production efficiency.
Requirements
- Perform scheduled inspections, calibrations, sensor checks, lubrication, and system performance monitoring to prevent failures.
- Repair or replace defective components such as wiring, circuits, sensors, motors, actuators, and robotic elements to maintain safe and reliable operation.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, robotic, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic tools, computers, and software.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain robotic equipment, PLC-controlled systems, conveyors, end-of-arm tooling, motors, and actuators.
- Read, write, modify, and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic, interpret HMI systems, and adjust automation parameters to meet operational requirements.
- Support commissioning of new machinery, automation systems, and condition-monitoring sensors.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems including power distribution, wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and control panels, ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate service records, test results, and repair logs using manual systems or CMMS, ensuring compliance with OSHA and industry safety requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to support automation performance.
