Job Description
The SeeIt Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation of the SeeIt program, which focuses on trauma-informed capacity building in Chicago Public Schools. The role involves developing and maintaining external partnerships, collaborating with school staff, managing program budgets, and working with staff to connect youth with Alternative therapy resources. The position also requires participation in fundraising and agency meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in Social Work or related field
- Knowledge of adolescent/family dynamics, substance abuse, trauma and child abuse issues.
- Use of car during working/on-call hours and valid insurance.
- Commitment to working in a community-based youth service organization.
