Directly supervises and coordinates the work of a production shift, interviews, hires, and trains employees, and provides motivation and work direction.
Requirements
- Supervise 20-40 employees
- Staff and maintain a fully qualified and efficient team
- Coordinate the Production Floor operations
- Create and maintain an environment that motivates employees to perform to their potential
- Communicate daily staffing numbers in labor report
- Assist with manufacturing engineering, tool shop, and maintenance departments
- Monitor the operations and make cost effective changes
- Follow up on all manufacturing problems, cost overruns, etc.
- Provide for efficient operating methods and adherence to company policies
- Maintain performance reviews and make recommendations on wage adjustments
- Maintain daily communication sheet for shift changeovers
- Motivate associates in the interest of productivity, quality, morale, safety regulations, and good housekeeping
