Engineer I, Senior

The Senior Engineer I is responsible for leading Engineering staff, assigning projects, and ensuring high-quality service and maintenance of good customer relations. Responsibilities include devising new approaches to problems, monitoring technical quality, and applying intensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or other related disciplines
• M.S. degree preferred
• Graduate from University and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience
• Demonstrated computer literacy in engineering software
• Exposed to Finite Element Method (course work or supervised research)
• Professional or chartered engineer license
• At least ten (10) years of related engineering experience in a shipyard, design/consulting office, shipping/oil company, or a classification society
