Engineer / Senior Engineer (Naval Architect / Structural Engineer)

The Engineer I performs engineering design review and analysis assignments, develops a thorough understanding of policies, methods, and procedures, and communicates the status of the current workload to the team. The role involves moderately complex problems, drafting reports, and working with clients to identify and resolve problems.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or other related disciplines
• Demonstrated computer literacy in engineering software
• Exposed to the Finite Element Method (coursework or supervised research)
• Seven (7) years or more of related engineering experience in a shipyard, design/consulting office, shipping/oil company, or a classification society
• Professional or chartered engineer license and four (4) years or more of related engineering experience in a shipyard, design/consulting office, shipping/oil company, or classification society
