On-Site Electrician

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Electrician in HMP/YOI Styal, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 4HR. The job involves planned and preventative electrical maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and functioning effectively.

Requirements

• City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent
• BS7671 18th Edition
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
• Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
• Able to work at heights, to work independently and use initiative
• Understanding of fire alarm and CCTV systems (Desirable)
• Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations
• Basic IT skills
