The Director, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting is a key finance professional responsible for preparing and filing SEC reports, managing quarterly reviews and annual audits, and overseeing accounting for equity transactions, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and technical accounting projects.
Requirements
- Manage Company’s external financial reporting process
- Assist with technical accounting matters
- Maintain completed US GAAP checklists
- Own the XBRL process
- Manage the equity process
- Serve as a subject matter expert on US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Implement process improvements
- Analyze competitor filings and industry reports
- Assist in review of quarterly financial statements
- Monitor and revise policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for the Audit Committee and senior management
- Manage the annual audit and quarterly review activities
- Manage testing by internal and external auditors
