Registered Nurse Hourly (PACU/Pre-op)

The Center's management company, AMSURG, is a nationally recognized leader in the strategic and operational management of ambulatory surgery centers. We are currently searching for a Registered Nurse Pre OP/PACU who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements

• Provide nursing care to a diverse population in a multi-specialty environment.
• Coordinate patient care, including admission, planned surgery, discharge, transfer to higher level of care and any appropriate referrals.
• Assess the patient, reviews patient's medical record and required documents to ensure all information consistent with the planned procedure and patient's confirmation, ensuring pre-requisites and preferences are met.
• Document all interventions and activities per standards of care.
• Perform and documents pre/post procedure assessment/evaluation/education of patient.
• Responds to life threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
• Act in accordance with the vision, mission, and business philosophy of the Center.
• Maintain patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform related work and other duties as required.
