The Associate Hearing Representative will be responsible for the analysis, management, and resolution of lien cases, attending lien hearings and negotiating resolution of provider liens in an assigned caseload of workers’ compensation claims.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience handling workers’ compensation lien hearings, preferably before the California WCAB
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel.
- Excellent writing skills - including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
- Must have outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and within deadlines.
- Must be self-motivated, disciplined and organized, with superior organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
- Ability to demonstrate self-starter capabilities and ability to prioritize important tasks and deadlines that derive from a voluminous case load
- Ability to work remotely and regularly travel to various hearings and meetings as required.
