The Manager of Membership Services is responsible for managing MPTA’s membership operations, meetings, and events while contributing to the implementation of strategic initiatives that strengthen member engagement, value, and organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Maintain accurate and up to date membership records for transit agencies, specialized service providers, business members, and non-members.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for members, maintaining positive relationships and responding to questions or requests.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts by helping communicate MPTA’s value and connecting members to relevant programs and resources.
- Prepare and distribute Board of Directors meeting materials, including agendas, reports, and supporting documents.
- Attend Board meetings and record, finalize, and publish meeting minutes.
- Coordinate planning and execution of MPTA programs and events, including legislative day, workshops, and conferences.
- Coordinate event logistics, including budget planning and expense tracking, hotel contract coordination, and registration setup.
- Support implementation of MPTA’s strategic goals related to membership growth, engagement, programs, and communications.
- Assist with managing and updating content on the MPTA website, social media, and member communications platforms.
- Oversee CRM functions related to membership records, event registration, email communications, and engagement tracking.
