Job Description
The CDL Program Director provides leadership for the CDL Program, responsible for curriculum development, product knowledge training, hiring and supervision of Driver Trainers, and student advising. The position also involves overseeing faculty performance, development, and retention, as well as leading and developing others within the program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Industry certification in the field of instruction (if required by industry) or demonstrated knowledge equivalent to the certification
- 3 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment
- 5 years of industry experience in the field of instruction
- 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Ability to qualify as a CDL Driver/Driver Trainer
