Remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative (Medi-Cal)

This remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative role for Medi-Cal will focus on collection of hospital and physician services. The primary responsibility is account resolution, including reviewing accounts, following up with payers, rebilling, and submitting claims. Excellent customer service and attention to detail are crucial.

Requirements

• Medi-Cal experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Knowledge of government and non-government billing guidelines
• Knowledge of account/claim status and appeals process
• Knowledge of UB04 and HCFA forms
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• High school diploma or GED certificate required
