Remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative (Medi-Cal)

The Remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative (MediCal) will be responsible for all collection functions for hospital and physician services, primarily focusing on account resolution. This role involves reviewing accounts, following up with insurance companies, gathering information, rebilling, and submitting claims to various payers. They also provide customer service and research remits.

Requirements

• Medi-Cal experience required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Knowledge in government and non-government billing guidelines
• Knowledge in account/claim status and appeals process
• Knowledge of the UB04 and HCFA forms
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
