Insurance & Billing Specialist - Collections Focused

Archway Dental Partners is seeking a motivated Insurance & Billing Specialist to focus on collections. This role involves managing insurance processes, resolving patient billing inquiries, and driving resolution of outstanding account balances. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, patient-focused, and proficient in dental billing and collection practices.

Requirements

• Take ownership of outstanding patient and insurance balances
• Proactively follow up on aging reports and unpaid insurance claims
• Negotiate and set up patient payment arrangements
• Communicate with patients regarding account balances and billing inquiries
• Respond to billing disputes and resolve them efficiently
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies
• Contact patients via phone, email, or mail to collect past-due payments
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and patient interactions
• Prepare regular reports on collection status and performance metrics
