Job Description
We're seeking a Medical Assistant to join our care team, supporting primary care physicians and ensuring excellent patient experience. The successful candidate will assist in assessing patient health conditions, perform routine diagnostic testing, and provide health coaching to patients.
Requirements
- Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history
- Perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed
- Critically listen and engage with patients throughout appointment, ensuring needs and/or changing in patient conditions are reported to PCP, specialists, and/or other clinical personnel
- Perform first aid procedures, such as changing dressings, applying bandages, and removing sutures, under physician supervision
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and conduct accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times
- Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices and follow up with coached patients via weekly calls
