Direct Support Professional for 3 Bed Personal Care Alternative (PCA) House

Direct Support Professional for 3 Bed Personal Care Alternative (PCA) House. Provide person centered services and supports for intellectual and developmentally disabled adults. Teach self-help, social, interpersonal, and daily living skills. Safely provide transportation and assist with personal care as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18.
• Six months experience in a related field, i.e., serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled, or the mental health field.
• 6 Months of experience providing total care to individuals.
• Related certifications and trainings, (CPR, Safety Care, QMAP, First Aid).
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• CPR, First Aid – client contact is limited prior to certification.
• CPI within 60 days of hire; client contact is limited until this training is completed.
• Van Drivers Training – before driving an Ariel owned vehicle.
• QMAP – within 60 days of hire, may not provide medication to clients without this certification.
• Informed Supervision training
• BSIT
• Client specific training
