The Direct Support Professional will provide person-centered services and supports for intellectual and developmentally disabled adults. The primary responsibility will be to provide direct supervision to the clients in activities and assist the clients in building the skills necessary to live as independently as possible in their community.
Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- Six months experience in a related field, i.e., serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled, or the mental health field
- 6 Months of experience providing total care to individuals
- Related certifications and trainings, (CPR, Safety Care, QMAP, First Aid). All certifications must be certifiable and current
