IT Application Support Engineer

Role Overview

This position will support the Information Technology department relating to production systems administration, providing ancillary support for BI Dashboards, Reporting, and Database Administration. The role will support many facilities within the region and report to the regional lead within this function.

What You Will Do

Administrate and support IT Production Systems, support report and dashboard creation, monitor, troubleshoot and tune existing databases, troubleshoot existing programs, provide technical support for in-house developed systems, perform testing of programming development, and assist in creating, maintaining, and testing the Disaster Recovery Plan.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of business systems in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in programming languages to support end-user reporting requirements
• Understanding of Microsoft-based productivity software
• Working knowledge of SQL Databases & basic network configuration
• Working Knowledge of IT Hardware and Software
