Job Description
Astor Services is seeking per diem clinicians/therapists in their Children and Family Treatment and Supports (CFTS) program. The role involves conducting assessments, delivering interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support families. Flexible scheduling with non-traditional shift work is offered. This is a rewarding position combining administrative tasks and interactive therapy.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York state – LMSW (or Limited Permit), LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
- Experience working with families in a therapeutic setting
- Strong understanding of family systems and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in clinical documentation
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Outgoing personality with confidence handling challenging situations
