Manufacturing Supervisor- 2nd shift

We are searching for a Manufacturing Supervisor to supervise staff and ensure conformance to specifications, with a focus on teamwork, continuous improvement and safety. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of supervisory experience and a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Engineering.

Requirements

• 5 years of supervisory experience
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Engineering
• Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company
• Auditing product and processes to ensure conformance to specifications
• Assuring compliance of company policies and safety regulations with employees
• Establishing or adjusting work procedures or schedules to meet customer's requirements
• Implementing changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiencies of shop, department, and work crew
• Maintaining consistent and fair labor relations with employees
• Ensuring that the team honors our Atkore core values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Technical background in maintenance, industrial or manufacturing engineering
• AS400 and/or JDE experience a plus
• Basic computer skills to include understanding of Microsoft Office
