Staff Sales Engineer (Life Sciences)

Atropos Health is seeking a dynamic Staff Sales Engineer to join our growing Commercial team. The Staff Sales Engineer role is an externally-facing, revenue-focused role, responsible for working with the Sales team to demonstrate the value of Atropos Health’s solutions to Life Sciences prospects and clients. The ideal candidate has prior experience selling and delivering real world evidence and precision medicine solutions to life sciences and pharmaceutical companies and has a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, data, technology, and analytical methods.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
• Prior experience working with real-world healthcare data (EMR, claims, etc.) and deep knowledge of its advantages, shortcomings, and use cases
• Demonstrated experience working with a sales team
• Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with SQL
• Prior experience working and proven aptitude in a startup environment
• 7+years work experience in healthcare, consulting, or pharmaceuticals/biotech in a customer facing role
• An advanced degree in a clinical setting (e.g., clinical informatics, Ph.D, PharmD, MPH, M.D.) is preferred
