Atlas Infrastructure Engineer

Aurora is seeking a Software Engineer to partner with the Mapping team to deliver stable, fast, scalable solutions for the Aurora Atlas – our mapping storage and versioning system. The Atlas powers many key functions, from map update processes, test creation systems, offboard simulations, visualizations, and onboard perception and decision making.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain the scalable backend infrastructure and data processing pipeline for storing and serving map data
• Establish and maintain robust testing and performance optimization practices to ensure the stability and scalability of the Atlas system
• Partner closely with internal and external customers to influence existing and future designs and features
