Job Description
Peer Support Specialist / BHT works closely with the treatment team to provide emotional, social, and practical support to individuals in recovery by sharing personal lived experience and offering guidance, encouragement, and advocacy.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong active listening skills to ensure people feel heard.
- Identifying needs and recovery goal
- Lessening feelings of isolation
- Proficient in computer applications and electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their loved ones, and other professionals.
