Job Description
The Peer Support Specialist monitors clients, provides peer support services individually and in a group setting, and transports them for treatment. Requires maintaining a positive attitude and certification in peer support specialist training.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Must be 25 years of age
- Knowledge of Windows, basic email, Microsoft Word, timekeeping software, and basic computer navigational skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Team player
- Professional and/or personal experience with substance abuse treatment highly preferred
- Active CPR and First Aid certification required
