We’re seeking a Sous Chef to join us at The Maple Leaf in Banff, Alberta, Canada. The Maple Leaf is an iconic landmark serving brunch, lunch & dinner daily, celebrating the best of Canadian cuisine with a menu inspired by the diverse ingredients found throughout Canada.
Requirements
- 2-3 years culinary experience is required
- Prior experience in a supervisory kitchen role is an asset
- Food Safety and WHMIS certification required
- Knowledge of kitchen training best practices and standard operating procedures
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying calm under pressure
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset
- Connecting with people and building trusting relationships comes easy to you
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
