Job Description
We are seeking a Metallurgist II-III to oversee day-to-day metallurgical operations, monitor and optimize leach recovery, and develop and maintain metallurgical mass balances and recovery forecasts.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Process-related degree
- Hands-on practical application and process optimization with at least 4 years’ experience, with a minimum of 2 years in heap leach
- Ability to research, analyze information and draw conclusions, and take action to resolve operational, environmental issues, permit compliance, and problem resolution from an operating plan status
- Proficiency in multiple software application and network platforms
- Experience in manipulating and analyzing large datasets programmatically
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
