Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Engineers to drive the technical integrity and long-term planning of our mine sites. In this hybrid role, you will oversee the technical aspects of mine design and schedules, cost estimation, and manage the roadmap for future mining developments and growth projects that are critical to deliver the Life of Mine (LOM) plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 to 8 years of mine engineering experience with a strong background in mine planning, design, and project management
- Excellent safety record and the ability to demonstrate safety leadership
- Deep understanding of mine operations and design principles, with a strong background in LOM planning and infrastructure management
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic business objectives
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work outside (or underground) in varied climatic conditions for extended periods
