Plant Engineer

Barrick offers opportunities on a global scale. The Plant Engineer provides technical support to all site maintenance and operating groups, ensuring compliance with regulatory maintenance and working on projects within approved budget, schedule, and quality parameters.

Requirements

• Post Secondary Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Industrial Engineering
• Professional Engineering designation within Ontario (preferred)
• 5-7 years practical engineering experience working in mining
• Experience with SAP or other electronic Enterprise Asset Management systems
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrates high levels of initiative and preferably has a history successfully of implementing change
• Strong prioritization, organization, and reasoning skills
• Ability to self-direct and work well within a team
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage priorities and work on various projects concurrently
• Experience with the following or similar software: SAP, Xeras, MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Civil 3D
